Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi to visit Turkey tomorrow
President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ebrahim Raisi will pay an official visit to Turkey tomorrow at the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The Presidency's Directorate of Communications stated that during the visit, the Eighth Meeting of the Turkey-Iran High-Level Cooperation Council will be held in Ankara under the co-chairmanship of President Erdoğan and Raisi.
GAZA AGENDA TO BE DISCUSSED
The statement noted that the meeting will review all aspects of Turkey-Iran relations and discuss steps to deepen and develop bilateral cooperation, adding the following:
"In addition to bilateral relations, views will be exchanged on current regional and global issues, primarily the Israeli attacks in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories. On the occasion of the meeting, the signing of various documents aimed at strengthening the contractual basis of relations is also on the agenda."
