Iranian President Pezeshkian: We do not want war
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated, "We do not want to fight; I think we should leave war behind. But if they want to impose things on us by force, should we submit at any cost? For me, Iran submitting is unacceptable."
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian met with representatives of civil society in Lorestan province.
In his remarks at the event, Pezeshkian stated that the US is not interested in democracy in Iran, saying, "The US has openly declared that it wants to seize Venezuela's oil resources.
The same situation applies to Canada and other countries. Do you really think they want to serve our country's interests and carry out reforms? We do not want to fight; I think we should leave war behind. But if they want to impose things on us by force, should we submit at any cost? For me, Iran submitting is unacceptable."
Stating that they must think of a remedy to solve problems and fix things, Pezeshkian said, "Just pointing out problems does not solve anything; on the contrary, we must think of a solution and a remedy. Help is needed to fix cultural issues, and we will accept this help from anyone who has the talent and expertise. When we cannot solve problems, we are dragged into conflict and fighting," he said.
