Letter from Iranian President Pezeshkian to Hezbollah: Support for the 'resistance movement'
Iranian President Pezeshkian stated that they will continue to provide strong support to the "resistance movements" in the region
Masoud Pezeshkian, who was elected President of Iran, stated that his country will continue to provide strong support to Hezbollah in Lebanon and the "resistance movements" in the region.
According to reports from Iranian state television, President-elect Pezeshkian sent a letter to Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah, who had sent him a congratulatory message.
In the letter, Pezeshkian stated that Iran would continue to strongly support Hezbollah and the resistance movements in the region, expressing that support for resistance forces is "a fundamental policy of Iran."
Pezeshkian said, "I am confident that the resistance movements in the region will not allow this regime (Israel) to continue its warmongering and criminal policies against the oppressed Palestinian people and other peoples of the region."
