The Iranian press announced that the Iranian Armed Forces carried out missile strikes against various targets from the country's southern regions.

According to the report by the Iran-based Fars News Agency, it has not yet been clarified exactly which targets the missiles were launched toward.

On the other hand, some Iranian sources suggested that a conflict in the Persian Gulf is possible.

Local sources also reported that sounds of explosions were heard in the provinces of Bushehr and Hormozgan.

Any explosions in the mentioned regions have not yet been confirmed by official authorities.

Some claims stated that the sounds of explosions heard may have been caused by warning shots fired at ships alleged to have violated Iran's rules in the Strait of Hormuz.
