Iranian press: US targeted an airport and a bridge in Iran, 7 people injured
The Iranian press reported that in US attacks on various regions of the country, an airport in the city of Iranshahr, a bridge near the city of Bandar Khamir, and a telecommunications tower in the city of Bandar Abbas were targeted, leaving 7 people injured in the attacks.
The Iranian press reported that the US military targeted various infrastructure elements in new airstrikes against Iran. Iran's semi-official Tasnim News Agency wrote that US warplanes carried out missile attacks on various points in southern Iran.
Reports in the local press alleged that the Iranshahr Airport in Sistan and Baluchestan province was targeted in the US attacks.
Furthermore, it was claimed that an attack was carried out on a strategic bridge located in the city of Bandar Khamir, as well as a telecommunications tower near the city of Bandar Abbas in Hormozgan province. It was noted that at least 7 people were injured in the attacks.
It was stated that the bridge targeted in Bandar Khamir is a critical transportation line connecting the cities of Bandar Abbas and Shiraz. It was also noted that a power outage occurred in the region as a result of the attack on the tower in Bandar Abbas.
No details have been shared by the US regarding the attacks yet.
