Iranian Red Crescent: 8 people killed in bridge attack

The number of people who lost their lives in the attack on the B1 Bridge, known as Iran's highest bridge, has risen to 8, while the number of injured has reached 95.

The death toll has increased in the attack carried out by the US and Israel on the B1 Bridge, which is currently under construction in the city of Karaj in Iran's Alborz province and is known as the country's highest bridge. Alborz Province Deputy Governor Ghodratollah Seif stated in his announcement that the number of people who lost their lives in the attack has risen to 8, and the number of injured has reached 95. Seif noted that all of those who died and were injured were civilians, adding that the injured were transferred to nearby hospitals, some were treated on an outpatient basis, and others are still undergoing treatment.

"What can never be compensated is the reputation of the US"

In a post on his social media account regarding the attack, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated, "Targeting civilian structures, including bridges that have not yet been completed, will not force the Iranian people to surrender. This situation only reveals the defeat and moral collapse of a scattered enemy. Every bridge and building will be rebuilt even stronger. However, what can never be compensated is the damage done to the reputation of the US."
