Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps: US-based cloud computing company Oracle targeted

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has targeted a US-based company in retaliation for the assassination attempt on Kamal Kharrazi, head of the Strategic Council on Foreign Relations, and his wife.

In a statement issued by the IRGC Public Relations Department, it was stated, "We had previously warned that if assassinations were repeated, US information technology and artificial intelligence espionage companies that play a fundamental role in monitoring and directing these operations would be targeted.

Today, in response to the assassination attempt on Dr. Kharrazi and his wife, the data center and computing infrastructure belonging to the US-based cloud computing company Oracle, located in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), were struck.

In the event that these crimes are repeated and a new assassination occurs, the next company should be prepared to receive a definitive response," the statement read.
