As tensions between the US and Iran continue, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy has announced that the "time for an operation" against the US Navy is drawing near.
In a statement broadcast on Iranian state television, it was noted that the movements of US forces and their military equipment are under the surveillance of Iranian naval units.
The IRGC Navy Command statement included the following: "The Americans are drawing closer with every passing moment to the time for an operation by the Iranian Armed Forces against the US Central Command (CENTCOM) units located in the waters of the region. Wait and see."
