Iranian Supreme Leader Khamenei: Enemies must also be made to despair in the economic sphere

Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei released a message on the occasion of May 1st, International Workers' Day. In his message, Khamenei noted that working life covers a wide area across the country and drew attention to the role of workers in the economic sphere.

Stating that the field of work extends from homes to workplaces, from fields to factories and the service sector, Khamenei said, "To the extent that this vast area is nourished by diligence and commitment, these become the fundamental elements of every great success, and the country's progress is secured more strongly and firmly."

"Enemies must also be defeated in the economic and cultural spheres"

Touching upon Iran's achievements in the military field, Khamenei stated, "After more than 47 years of struggle, Iran has proven to the world some of its remarkable capabilities in the military field against those who oppose its progress and rise. Iran must also make its enemies despair and defeat them in the phase of economic and cultural struggle."
