Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, Mohammad Bagher Zolghadr, made notable remarks regarding the Strait of Hormuz.
Zolghadr stated that the US must "correct its behavior" for the Strait of Hormuz to be reopened and listed Iran's demands.
Zolghadr stated that the US must end its threats against Iran and its "sacred values," permanently cease military operations against Iran and its regional allies, withdraw US naval and air forces involved in the blockade against Iran, pay compensation for damages caused to Iran during the recent conflict, lift sanctions, and unfreeze Iran's assets.
Zolghadr said, "The National Security Council will not back down from these demands, neither in war nor in negotiations."
