Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani congratulated Donald Trump and his running mate James David Vance on their election victory in a post on his social media account.
Sudani stated, “We reaffirm Iraq's commitment to strengthening bilateral relations with the US based on mutual respect and shared interests.
We hope that this new term will be a beginning for deepening cooperation between our countries in various fields and will contribute to sustainable development for the benefit of both friendly peoples,” he said.
