Iraqi Prime Minister to visit Turkey
Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani announced that he has gladly accepted President Erdoğan's invitation to visit Turkey.
According to a written statement from the Iraqi Prime Minister's Press Office, al-Sudani received Turkey's Ambassador to Baghdad, Anıl Bora İnan. During the meeting, al-Sudani, who received an official invitation from President Erdoğan to attend the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council meeting to be held in Turkey in May, stated that he accepted the invitation with pleasure.
Expressing his government's determination to maintain the momentum of developing relations with Turkey in every field, al-Sudani gave instructions for the preparation of files regarding common areas such as security, water resources, industry, defense industry, energy, transportation, trade, and higher education, emphasizing that comprehensive cooperation to be achieved in these areas would strengthen the common interests of the two countries.
