While Netanyahu suggested that the desire to see a 'free Iran' could happen ‘sooner than many think,’ he stated, “I know that you want peace with us, just as we want peace with you, but you are suffering under a regime that oppresses you and poses a threat to us.”

Netanyahu said that “those who oppress (the Iranian people) gave 30 billion dollars in support to Bashar al-Assad in Syria,” but that the regime “turned to dust in 11 days.” The video message in question was published on social media with subtitles in Hebrew and Persian.

TRUMP: ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN

A statement from US President-elect Donald Trump also drew attention. When asked about the possibility of a war with Iran in an interview, Trump said, “Anything can happen. Anything can happen. It’s a very fluid situation.” It is stated that Trump, who will take office in January, is also putting the ‘military strike option’ against Iran on the agenda.

Israel, which has carried out over 500 airstrikes in the country and entered the buffer zone after HTS-led opposition forces took control of Damascus in Syria, will remain there for a long time. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said in a post on his X account, “With Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the Golan Heights. We are looking at the Syrian summit of Mount Hermon (Jabal al-Shaykh), which has returned to Israeli control after 51 years.”

While it is stated that Katz ordered the Israeli army to prepare to stay on the mountain during the winter, Syria had complained to the United Nations, stating that Israel's occupation of the region was a violation of the 1974 agreement.
