The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) has issued a warning to the public following the terrorist attack on the "Crocus City Hall" concert venue in Moscow regarding calls received via telephone that incite the carrying out of terrorist acts against shopping centers, transportation, and social facilities. It was alleged that the calls were made from Ukraine using fake numbers.

In a statement from the FSB, it was noted that following the terrorist attack in Moscow, there has been a sharp increase in the number of phone calls and messages received by Russian citizens, including children, that encourage the commission of terrorist acts on Russian territory.

The statement, which reported that calls were being made to carry out terrorist acts, particularly in shopping centers, transportation, and social infrastructure facilities, highlighted that young people were being encouraged to carry out these terrorist attacks in exchange for money, and used the phrase, "We call on citizens to be vigilant against these provocations."

The statement pointed to the necessity of 'speaking separately with minors about the importance of not talking or corresponding with such subscribers,' and emphasized that all such cases should be reported immediately to law enforcement agencies.
