Israel attacks a UN school in northern Gaza
The Israeli army bombed a school belonging to the United Nations (UN) in the Jabalia Refugee Camp in the northern Gaza Strip.
According to eyewitness accounts and footage shared on social media, the Israeli army targeted a UN-run school housing hundreds of displaced people.
Footage on social media showed bloodstains in the school courtyard and a fire breaking out in the targeted building following the attack.
In another video, a Palestinian stated that many people were killed and injured in the attack.
The Israeli army has been intensifying its ground and air attacks on the Jabalia Refugee Camp for days, while continuing to clash with Palestinian resistance forces on the ground.
In a statement made yesterday by the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, it was announced that 13 Israeli soldiers had been killed in Jabalia.
