Israel attacks Iranian state television
Israel struck the Tehran office of Iran's state broadcaster IRIB during a live broadcast.
As conflicts between Israel and Iran have continued since June 13, Israel has struck Iranian state television.
The Israeli military hit the Tehran office of Iran's state broadcaster, the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), during a live broadcast.
The female presenter was seen fleeing in panic during the attack, which occurred while on air, as dust and smoke were seen rising on screen. It is not yet known if there were any casualties in the attack.
Prior to the attack, the Israeli military had issued an evacuation warning for the area where the IRIB office is located, and Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz had targeted Iranian state television, stating, "The mouthpiece of Iran's propaganda and incitement is on the path to extinction."
