Israel besieges refugee camp

Israel raided the city of Jenin in the northern West Bank. According to information obtained from eyewitnesses, the Israeli army, which raided the city of Jenin, searched the homes and workplaces of Palestinians.

Clashes broke out between Israeli soldiers, who detained at least 1 Palestinian in Jenin, and local residents. Israeli soldiers used live ammunition against Palestinians who threw stones in opposition to the raid and detentions.

Bulldozers belonging to the Israeli army damaged the streets around the Jenin Refugee Camp. The Israeli army, which sent reinforcements to the area around the camp, placed the camp under siege.
