Israel conducts airstrike on Aleppo: 40 people lost their lives
It has been reported that at least 40 people, mostly soldiers, lost their lives in airstrikes conducted by Israel on the city of Aleppo in northern Syria.

According to the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), six members of the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah were among those killed. The Observatory stated the death toll as 42 and reported that dozens of people were injured.
The Syrian Ministry of Defense reported that the strikes targeted several areas in the Aleppo countryside around 01:45 local time on Friday.
According to the Syrian state news agency SANA, it was stated that a large number of civilians and military personnel were killed and property was damaged following the attacks by Israel and unnamed armed groups.
The Syrian opposition war monitor SOHR stated in its posts on X that the Israeli strikes hit a weapons depot near Aleppo International Airport, which led to a series of large explosions.
The report, which stated that at least 36 Syrian soldiers were killed, noted that Hezbollah weapons depots were located in the area.
The Israeli military did not confirm the attack.
