Israel conducts three airstrikes in southern Lebanon
The Israeli military carried out three airstrikes in southern Lebanon during the night.
According to a report by Lebanon's official news agency NNA, Israeli warplanes carried out three separate strikes during the night near the town of Ramya, which is linked to the city of Nabatieh in the country's south.
Israeli Army Spokesperson Avichay Adraee claimed in a statement on his X account that they targeted Hezbollah infrastructure in southern Lebanon yesterday evening.
Asserting that Hezbollah uses civilian infrastructure for its own operations, Adraee stated that they would not allow Hezbollah to rebuild its infrastructure in the region.
Despite the ceasefire agreement reached between Israel and Lebanon on November 27, 2024, Israel frequently violates the agreement.
It is reported that hundreds of people have been killed and injured in the attacks carried out by Israel since the ceasefire was established.
