Israel continues to target journalists in Gaza and the West Bank: They used live ammunition and rockets
Violations against members of the press in Gaza and the West Bank have once again come to the fore. Last September, Israel killed and wounded journalists with live ammunition and rocket fire.
In the occupied West Bank, 185 violations were committed against journalists and media organizations. Israel wounded 9 journalists and killed 2 others.
A study conducted by the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate provided information on some of the violations committed by Israel in September in Gaza and the West Bank, including killing, wounding, opening fire, detaining, and closing down media organizations.
Accordingly, last month, 2 journalists were killed by Israeli soldiers in Gaza, 9 journalists were wounded by live ammunition and rocket shrapnel in Gaza and the West Bank, and fire was opened on press teams 44 times to prevent them from reporting.

ISRAEL'S VIOLATIONS AGAINST JOURNALISTS
5 journalists, including two women, were detained, and 10 raids and searches were conducted on media organizations and the homes of journalists.
23 journalists faced the danger of suffocation after being affected by gas fired by Israeli soldiers, and 10 journalists were chased by military vehicles and faced the danger of being crushed.
In the West Bank, 67 journalists were systematically prevented from reporting. The Ramallah office of the Qatar-based Al Jazeera television was closed and its equipment was seized, while the equipment of Nas Radio in Jenin and 11 other media organizations was destroyed.
