Israel Defense Forces commander loses his life
It has been reported that Israel Defense Forces Colonel Daxa lost his life in a clash in the Gaza Strip. The Israel Defense Forces announced that an officer was also seriously wounded in the clash.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that 41-year-old Daxa was killed in a clash in the Gaza Strip. The IDF reported that in the same clash where the Israeli colonel was killed, an officer from the 52nd Battalion of the 401st Iron Tracks Brigade was also seriously wounded.
While the wounded officer was taken to the hospital for treatment, according to the IDF, with the death of Colonel Daxa, the number of Israeli soldiers who have lost their lives since October 7 of last year has risen to 749.
