After electricity, Israel also halts fuel and goods supply to Gaza

Yediot Ahronot newspaper, citing a statement from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office, reported that a series of decisions were made during a meeting of the Israeli Security Cabinet.

It was stated that the decisions aim to destroy the military capabilities of Hamas and Islamic Jihad so that they can no longer threaten or harm Israeli citizens for many years to come. As part of the decision, it was noted that the entry of fuel and goods into Gaza has been banned. Israeli Energy Minister Yisrael Katz had previously ordered the cutting off of electricity supplied to the blockaded Gaza Strip.

WHAT HAPPENED?

The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced yesterday morning that they had launched a comprehensive attack on Israel named "Al-Aqsa Flood".

While thousands of rockets were fired from Gaza toward Israel, armed groups entered residential areas in the region.

The Israeli army also announced that it had launched attacks on the Gaza Strip with dozens of fighter jets.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that 232 people had lost their lives and 1,697 people had been injured in Israel's attacks on Gaza.

The Israeli press also reported that 300 Israelis have died so far in the attacks launched by Hamas's armed wing, and the number of wounded across the country has risen to 1,590.
