Israel ignores ceasefire

Israel has continued to violate the ceasefire with new attacks launched on the Gaza Strip since yesterday evening. The official Palestinian news agency WAFA, citing hospital sources, announced that the number of Palestinians who lost their lives in the attacks has risen to 91.

As a result of the attacks, 31 people lost their lives in the northern part of Gaza, 42 in the central region, and 18 in the south. It was reported that some of the injured are in critical condition and that many people remain trapped under the rubble of collapsed buildings. As darkness fell, Israeli warplanes carried out new airstrikes on Gaza City and Deir al-Balah throughout the night. It was reported that these attacks also resulted in civilian casualties and injuries.

RESCUE EFFORTS HINDERED

Health sources stated that rescue teams are struggling to carry out search and rescue operations in the areas due to heavy smoke, destruction, and blocked roads. Civil defense teams are facing serious difficulties while trying to rescue people trapped under the rubble.

CEASEFIRE AND HOSTAGE EXCHANGE AGREEMENT VIOLATED

It had been reported that the ceasefire in Gaza was reached between Israel and Hamas on October 9 through Egyptian mediation and went into effect on October 10. However, the Gaza government stated that Israel has continuously violated the ceasefire, announcing that it had caused the deaths of 94 civilians by October 28.

CHILDREN AMONG THOSE HIT IN LATEST BOMBARDMENT

In the latest attacks that began yesterday evening, it was recorded that 63 people, 24 of whom were children, lost their lives according to initial reports.
