In a statement released by the Israeli National Security Council, a travel warning was issued for Turkey, Egypt, Morocco, and Jordan. While no specific details were provided in the travel warning, Israeli media claimed that the warning was issued within the framework of 'intelligence gathered'.
According to a report by the Times of Israel, an Israeli official speaking to the newspaper stated that Turkey, Morocco, Jordan, and Egypt are 'destinations that should be avoided at this time'.
The report included details that the unnamed official said there had been recently intercepted intelligence regarding plots to kill Israelis in Cyprus, Greece, and Turkey.
The Israeli official stated, "What has been published is only the tip of the iceberg."
The official also warned Israelis traveling to Sweden in May for the Eurovision 2024 song contest to make an effort to conceal their identities.
Although the travel warning issued by Israel applies to four countries, Israeli officials frequently warn their citizens traveling abroad to exercise caution.
