Israel releases 39 Palestinian prisoners
The third prisoner exchange between Israel and Palestine has been completed as Israel released another 39 Palestinian prisoners on the third day of the humanitarian pause.
In the Gaza Strip, the third prisoner exchange between Israel and Palestine was completed on the 3rd day of the 4-day humanitarian pause. Israel released 39 Palestinian prisoners after Hamas released 14 Israeli and 3 foreign national hostages.
THE AGREEMENT CONTINUES
Hamas had announced that 13 Israelis, 3 Thai nationals, and 1 Russian hostage were released and handed over to the Red Cross as part of the humanitarian pause. It was stated that the Russian hostage holds dual Russian-Israeli citizenship.
Since the humanitarian pause between Israel and Hamas began on November 24 at 07:00, a total of 40 Israelis and 18 foreign nationals and dual citizens have been released by Hamas, while 117 Palestinian prisoners have been released by Israel.
