Israel removes Greta Thunberg from curriculum for supporting Palestine
The Israeli Ministry of Education has decided to remove the name of climate activist Greta Thunberg from all textbooks following her statement in support of Palestine.
Climate activist Greta Thunberg shared a photo last weekend holding a sign that read "Stand with Gaza," prompting a notable move from Israel.

"CANNOT BE AN EDUCATIONAL RESOURCE FOR ISRAELI STUDENTS"
According to a report in Independent Türkçe; the Israeli Ministry of Education stated, "Hamas is a terrorist organization that killed 1,400 innocent Israelis, including women, children, and the elderly, and kidnapped more than 200 people to Gaza. Her stance has disqualified her (Greta Thunberg) from being an educational and moral role model. She can no longer be a source of inspiration and education for Israeli students."
In a statement on the social media platform X, Thunberg had said, "The world needs to speak up and call for an immediate ceasefire, justice and freedom for Palestinians."
