Israeli Defence Minister: There is a possibility of relaunching the operation against Iran.
A statement by Israeli Defence Minister Yisrael Katz has once again raised the question of whether war is at the door. In his remarks, Katz said "there is a possibility of relaunching the operation against Iran."
THE CONFLICT THAT BEGAN WITH ISRAEL'S INTENSE STRIKES ON IRAN
While nuclear negotiations between Iran and the United States were still ongoing, Israel launched attacks on June 13 targeting nuclear and military facilities as well as civilian settlements in various cities across Iran.
The strikes killed 1,100 people, including 126 women and 41 children, and wounded more than 5,000, among them senior military officials and nuclear scientists. In Iran's retaliatory strikes, 28 people were killed and 1,272 were wounded, according to Israel's statement.
