Israel strikes medicine warehouse at Al-Awda Hospital in Gaza!
It has been announced that the Israeli army targeted the medicine warehouse of Al-Awda Hospital in northern Gaza and that the resulting fire is still ongoing.
In a statement, the management of Al-Awda Hospital said, "The Israeli army targeted a medicine warehouse inside Al-Awda Hospital, located in the Tel al-Zaatar area of the Jabalia camp (in northern Gaza), and the fire is still ongoing."
The statement noted that the fire threatens the lives of the wounded and the medical staff at the hospital, and reported that hospital employees are working to extinguish the blaze.
Emphasizing that the circle of fire is expanding and that firefighting capabilities are limited, the statement added that tanks belonging to the Israeli army are attempting to surround the hospital once again.
The Israeli army also targeted Al-Awda Hospital yesterday evening, striking the third floor of the hospital with artillery fire.
It was previously announced that vital units of Al-Awda Hospital in the Gaza Strip sustained heavy damage after the Israeli army carried out intense airstrikes in its vicinity on May 18.
