Israel to forcibly evacuate south of Litani River in Lebanon: 'Leave your homes immediately'

The Israeli army is preparing to occupy the region between the Litani River in southern Lebanon and its own territory. Israeli Army Spokesperson Avichay Adraee stated in a written statement on the X social media platform that those living in southern Lebanon 'must migrate.'

The statement warned Lebanese people not to travel south of the Litani River by vehicle and requested that residents of 28 villages and towns in the south of the country leave their homes.

At least 1,248 Lebanese have lost their lives in Israel's attacks on Lebanon so far

'YOUR LIVES ARE IN DANGER' WARNING TO CIVILIANS

The statement indicated that any call for Lebanese people to return to the south could only come from them.

In his statement, Israeli army spokesperson Adraee used the following expressions: 'You must leave your homes immediately and move north of the Litani River. Attention! Heading south is prohibited; if you move south, your lives are in danger.'

The closest point of the Litani River in Lebanon to the Israeli border is 8 kilometers away, while the farthest point is 28 kilometers away.
