Israel to receive the bodies of 4 hostages from Hamas

The prisoner exchange continues as part of the ceasefire agreement reached between Israel and Hamas. Following the release of living hostages, Hamas has begun handing over the bodies of hostages who lost their lives during Israeli attacks.

The Israeli military stated that a Red Cross convoy is moving toward the south of the Gaza Strip, noting that the convoy will receive the bodies of 4 Israeli hostages from Hamas.

It was stated that the Red Cross will deliver the coffins to Israeli military units in Gaza, the coffins will be inspected for "security purposes," and a small ceremony will then be held under the leadership of a military rabbi. It was reported that the bodies will then be removed from the Gaza Strip and delivered to the Abu Kabir Forensic Institute for identification.

Hamas had previously announced that it would hand over the bodies of Guy Illouz, Yossi Sharabi, Bipin Joshi, and Israeli Captain Daniel Perez. According to officials, the identification process could take up to two days.
