Israel's War Cabinet meets: Will there be a response to Iran's attack?

According to a report on Israel's Channel 12, the War Cabinet is scheduled to meet at 15:30 local time.

It was stated that the "response" to the Iranian attacks will be discussed at the meeting.

The Israeli Security Cabinet had previously decided that the response to the Iranian attacks would be determined by the War Cabinet.

The War Cabinet includes Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, and main opposition leader Benny Gantz.

"THE THREAT TO STRIKE IRAN IS STILL VALID"

Israeli Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz made a statement to army radio regarding the attack launched by Iran against Israel using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and ballistic missiles.

"We said that if Iran attacks Israel, we will attack, and that still stands," said Katz, adding that they need to deepen their cooperation with their allies.

Katz noted that they have two goals: to have the Revolutionary Guard Corps designated as a "terrorist organization" and to exert pressure for the implementation of effective sanctions against Iran.

Israeli Minister of Aliyah and Integration Ofir Sofer, in his statement to army radio, used the expression, "The audacity of Iran to carry out such an attack must be eliminated."

Israeli Minister of Education Yoav Kish, in a statement on the X social media platform, argued that "the Iranian attack has been brought under control with the support of the Israeli Air Force, air defense forces, the US, and regional factors."

Kish promised a calm and intelligent response, emphasizing that the time for an attack has come.
