Israeli airstrike on Beirut: Building and vehicle in Mar Elias targeted
The Israeli military carried out an airstrike on the Mar Elias district of Beirut. One person lost their life and 9 others were injured in the attack. The strikes that took place today have increased tensions in Lebanon.
The Israeli military targeted a building and a nearby vehicle in Mar Elias, one of the busiest streets in the Lebanese capital, Beirut.

In a statement, the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health reported that 1 person was killed and 9 others, 2 of whom are in critical condition, were injured in the airstrike, which was carried out without warning in a densely populated civilian area.

Earlier today, Israel targeted a building in Ras al-Naba, in downtown Beirut, and it was announced that Hezbollah's media relations officer, Mohammad Afif, was killed in that attack.

The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health had announced that 3 people were also injured in that attack.
