Israeli airstrike on Lebanon's capital
The Israeli military announced that it has carried out airstrikes on the Dahiyeh district in the south of Beirut, the capital of Lebanon.
In a written statement, the Israeli military reported that it conducted strikes on locations in the Dahiyeh district that it alleged were Hezbollah's unmanned aerial vehicle production facilities.
Israeli Army Spokesperson Avichay Adraee had shared a map on his social media account marking 4 buildings in the Hadas, Haret Hreik, and Burj al-Barajneh areas in the south of the capital, Beirut.
Adraee claimed that the 4 buildings in question were facilities belonging to Hezbollah and demanded that nearby buildings be "evacuated."
Despite the ceasefire agreement reached between Israel and Lebanon on November 27, 2024, Israel frequently violates the agreement.
