Israeli army announces: 'Bodies recovered'

Israeli Army Spokesperson Daniel Hagari stated in a press conference that the bodies of 3 Israelis have been found in Gaza.

Hagari stated that the names of the Israelis whose bodies were found in Gaza are Shani Louk, Amit Bouskila, and Itzhak Gelerenter.

Noting that Louk, Bouskila, and Gelerenter were killed on October 7, Hagari stated that the bodies of the aforementioned Israelis were taken to Gaza on the same day.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in a condolence message shared on his social media account, used the phrase, "We will bring back all our hostages, both the living and the dead."

Hamas Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniyeh had informed Qatar and Egypt on May 6 that he had approved their proposals regarding a ceasefire and hostage exchange agreement in the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli War Cabinet's decision to continue attacks on the Rafah region of Gaza in response to Hamas's announcement had sparked a reaction from those in Israel who want a ceasefire and a hostage exchange.

It is estimated that there are still 129 Israeli hostages held by Hamas.
