Israeli Army Spokesperson announces: Beirut struck again!
Israel has carried out airstrikes on the southern part of Beirut, the capital of Lebanon. The attack was announced by Israeli Army Spokesperson Avichai Adraee.
Israeli Army Spokesperson Avichai Adraee claimed in a post on his X account that they had struck a Hezbollah weapons depot in the southern part of Beirut.
The attacks came after Adraee issued threats to strike certain locations in southern Beirut, alleging they belonged to Hezbollah.
Adraee stated, "The IDF conducted a raid on a strategic Hezbollah weapons depot hidden in an underground facility in the southern suburbs of Beirut. A short while ago, Air Force fighter jets, under the precise intelligence guidance of the Military Intelligence Directorate, raided strategic combat assets hidden in an underground depot in the southern suburbs belonging to Hezbollah. Before the raid, various steps were taken to reduce the possibility of civilian casualties, including advance warnings to the public."
Israel had not carried out an attack on Beirut since October 10.
