Israeli far-right Minister: 'Not a single grain of wheat will be allowed into Gaza!'
Israel's far-right Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich stated that they will not allow "even a single grain of wheat" to enter the Gaza Strip, where they have been blocking aid entries since March 2.
In Gaza, approximately 2.3 million Palestinians are struggling with hunger due to Israel halting the entry of aid since March 2. Due to the flour and fuel shortages observed following the obstruction of aid, bakeries in Gaza have been unable to produce bread since the beginning of this month. According to claims in the Israeli press, the army will allow some humanitarian aid to enter Gaza in the 'coming weeks'.
Far-right Minister Bezalel Smotrich addressed the claims that the Israeli army would allow some humanitarian aid into Gaza during a conference he attended. Smotrich stated that, contrary to the reports, 'not even a single grain of wheat' would be allowed to enter Gaza.
Israel had halted the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza on March 2, following the completion of the first phase of a ceasefire and hostage exchange agreement in the Gaza Strip.
