Israeli Foreign Minister Sa'ar says 'we do not want an endless war'
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar, in a statement regarding the ongoing attacks on Iran, said, "We do not want an endless war."
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar held a joint press conference in Israel following his meeting with German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul.
In his statement regarding the ongoing attacks on Iran, Sa'ar noted that the matter would be consulted with the US when they believe the right time has come to end the attacks, stating, "We do not want an endless war."
Sa'ar claimed that "Israel's goal is to eliminate Iran's long-term existential threats against Israel."
Referring to Iran's new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, Sa'ar argued that he is no less extremist than his father, the former Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, who was killed in an assassination.
Sa'ar claimed that regime change in Iran could occur following the attacks, stating, "We should not miss this opportunity with partial results. Therefore, we and our partners will continue until the moment we deem it appropriate to stop."
Sa'ar also called on the international community to sever all diplomatic relations with Iran.
