Israeli intelligence: It only set Iran's nuclear program back a few years

Speaking to The Times of Israel, an Israeli official made statements regarding the intelligence assessment conducted in Tel Aviv concerning the US and Israeli attacks on Iran.

Stating that the intelligence assessment in Tel Aviv indicates that Iran's nuclear program could not be completely destroyed, the Israeli official claimed that the 12-day Israeli attacks, as well as the US targeting of the Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan nuclear facilities, only set Tehran's nuclear program back by a few years.

The Israeli official claimed that the attacks on nuclear facilities and military infrastructure would play a deterrent role against the Tehran administration restarting its "uranium enrichment initiative."

Furthermore, the official argued that a result that could not be achieved through negotiations between Washington and the Tehran administration was made possible through the attacks on Iran.

Israeli Chief of General Staff Eyal Zamir, in a statement made hours after the ceasefire was reached, had used the expression, "We have set Iran's nuclear project back by years, and the same applies to its missile program."
