Israeli media makes 'nuclear' claim: Iran has agreed
According to a claim by Israel's Channel 12, Iran has agreed to freeze its missile program for 5 years as part of ongoing negotiations.
A senior Iranian official speaking to Al Jazeera stated that messages have been exchanged between Tehran and Washington in good faith via Egypt and Turkey to reduce tensions.
US President Trump stated that they have reached an agreement with Iran on 15 points and that Iran has agreed to halt its nuclear missile program.
'IT WILL PROTECT OUR INTERESTS IN THE AGREEMENT'
Netanyahu, who held a phone call with US President Donald Trump, made the following statement:
"Earlier today, I spoke with our friend President Trump.
President Trump believes there is an opportunity to leverage the great successes of the Israel Defense Forces and the US military to achieve the goals of the war through an agreement; this agreement will protect our vital interests.
In parallel, we are continuing our strikes in both Iran and Lebanon.
We are systematically eliminating the missile program and the nuclear program, and we continue to deal heavy blows to Hezbollah.
Just a few days ago, we neutralized two more nuclear scientists, and our hand remains extended.
We will protect our vital interests in any agreement."
