According to a report by Israeli state television KAN citing a high-level official, Tel Aviv assesses that the US will support Israel in attacks on Iran.
It was reported that the Israeli official said, "US President Donald Trump would want to be remembered as the person who toppled the Iranian regime, and that is why he has toughened his rhetoric."
The official claimed that the US would soon join the attack against Iran, suggesting that "Trump would not want to be remembered as someone who stood on the sidelines during the most important security event of the 21st century, but rather as someone who played a role in the overthrow of the Iranian regime."
The report noted that the US President has begun to display an aggressive stance toward Iran.
It was stated that high-level Israeli officials believe it will be necessary to begin discussing termination mechanisms as the attacks intensify in the coming days.
