Israeli minister's statement on ceasefire: We will not take our foot off the gas
Making statements regarding the attacks on Lebanon, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said, "We will not have a ceasefire, we will not take our foot off the gas."
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz visited the Northern Command of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
In his statement regarding Israel's ongoing attacks on Lebanon, Katz said that he would not accept any ceasefire agreement that does not include Hezbollah laying down its arms, withdrawing north of the Litani River in Lebanon, or allowing northern Israeli residents to return to their homes.
"WE WILL NOT HAVE A CEASEFIRE"
Katz stated, "We will not have a ceasefire, we will not take our foot off the gas, and we will not allow any arrangement that does not include achieving the goals of the war."
Emphasizing that Israel will continue to insist on its right to take action against any organization, Katz said, "Now we need to continue hitting Hezbollah with all our might."
