Israeli officials' phone numbers leaked by Turkish hackers
Turkish hackers have committed a privacy breach by publishing the phone numbers of the Israeli Defense Minister and other high-ranking officials on social media.
A Turkish hacker group has obtained and shared the personal phone numbers of Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz, as well as Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana and Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir, on social media.
The group stated that they made a video call to Katz and insulted him during the conversation.
According to reports in the Israeli press, Katz answered the hackers' call briefly but then quickly ended the conversation.
Following the incident, Katz stated in a post on his social media account, "Organized Islamist-jihadist gangs from various countries around the world are calling my non-classified civilian phone, leaving hateful messages and threats.

They will continue to call and threaten me, and I will continue to order the elimination of their terrorist organization leaders," he said.
The hacker group subsequently published the phone numbers of Knesset Speaker Ohana and far-right National Security Minister Ben-Gvir on social media.
