Israeli press discusses possibility of boycott against Israel at 2024 Paris Olympics

In an editorial titled "What should Israel do if its rivals boycott its participation in the Olympic Games?" published in the Israeli newspaper The Jerusalem Post, it was discussed that Israel could face a boycott at the 2024 Olympic Games to be held in Paris, the capital of France, between July 26 and August 11.
Pointing out that some countries, such as Iran, have refused to compete against Israel in the Olympics, the article recalled that Tel Aviv has also faced boycotts from many Arab and Muslim countries in football matches in the past.
The article noted that calls for Israel to be banned from the Eurovision Song Contest have increased, and drew attention to the fact that similar calls are being made for Tel Aviv to be banned from the Olympic Games.

It was emphasized that although International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Thomas Bach supports Israel's participation in the Olympic Games, other countries participating in the competition may decide to boycott Israel.
