Israeli press reports: Shipments from Turkey to Israel continue

Israeli press reports: Shipments from Turkey to Israel continue

The Israel-based Maariv newspaper reported that shipments to Israel are continuing despite Turkey's decision to "halt trade" on May 2, 2024.

According to the newspaper's reporter Lee Saadon, products originating from Turkey continue to enter Israel by following a circuitous route through Greece.

Eran Siv, President of the Israel Builders Association, announced that imports from Turkey totaling 1.9 billion shekels (approximately 23.5 billion lira/567 million dollars) were carried out during the January-July 2025 period.
