Israeli state television reports on leaked ceasefire draft: Will withdraw to lines on the map
Israeli state television KAN has shared a text it claims is a leaked draft of a ceasefire agreement reached in Gaza that is expected to come into effect.
It is claimed that the Israeli army will withdraw to the lines on the updated map within 24 hours after the ceasefire is announced.
According to the draft text shared by KAN, the ceasefire in Gaza will come into effect once the Israeli cabinet approves the agreement.
The text reports that once the Israeli government grants approval, the decision will be communicated to mediators and the start of the ceasefire will be announced, with the claim that the Israeli army will withdraw to the lines on the updated map within 24 hours of the announcement.
It is stated that within 72 hours after the Israeli army's withdrawal is completed, Hamas will hand over all Israeli hostages in the Gaza Strip, and in return, Israel will release 250 Palestinian prisoners serving life sentences, 1,700 people detained from the Gaza Strip after October 7, 2023, and 22 children, as well as hand over the bodies of 360 Palestinians killed by Israel.
