Israeli War Cabinet member Gantz breaks his foot
It has been reported that Israeli War Cabinet member Benny Gantz broke his foot following an accident while riding a bicycle.
According to a report by Israel's state broadcaster KAN, Gantz was involved in an accident while cycling near Kibbutz Yad Mordechai, an illegal Jewish settlement in southern Israel.
Gantz was taken to Tel HaShomer Hospital, where it was determined after an examination that he had broken his foot.
Gantz is expected to be discharged from the hospital later today following the completion of medical tests.
Some social media users, however, claimed that Gantz was riding a motorcycle at the time of the accident.
Israel's far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir was also hospitalized on April 26 after being injured when his official vehicle overturned in a traffic accident.
