Israelis march to Netanyahu's residence

The Tel Aviv administration, which continues its attacks on Palestine with full intensity, has rejected Hamas's ceasefire proposal.

Israelis took to the streets after the Israeli war cabinet decided to launch an operation into the city of Rafah instead of responding positively to the ceasefire proposal accepted by Hamas.

In blockaded Gaza, a group consisting of relatives of hostages and their supporters held a protest march from Paris Square in West Jerusalem toward Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's residence, demanding that the hostages held by Hamas return home as soon as possible.

INTERVENTION BY ISRAELI FORCES

The protesters demanded an end to the war and an agreement for a prisoner exchange.

Israeli forces, which had taken security measures in the area, intervened against the demonstrators as they marched.

Hamas had announced that it accepted the ceasefire proposal for Gaza from Egypt and Qatar, while the Israeli war cabinet, following the announcement of Hamas's acceptance of the ceasefire offer, decided in a meeting to continue the operation into Rafah, where nearly 1.5 million civilians are sheltering in the south of Gaza.
