Israel's far-right minister calls for 'full occupation of northern Gaza'

Far-right Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich made scandalous remarks regarding Palestine at a meeting of the Religious Zionism Party, which he leads.

According to reports in the Israeli press, Smotrich argued that the northern part of Gaza must be completely occupied to force Hamas to release Israeli captives, stating, "We must completely occupy the northern part of Gaza to bring back the hostages. We must tell Hamas that if they do not return the hostages, we will stay there forever, and it will cost them a third of Gaza."

"A DEAL WITH HAMAS MEANS DEFEAT"

Stating that the fight against Hamas must continue, Smotrich said, "Reaching a deal with Hamas to end the war means surrender and defeat." Declaring, "We will continue until Hamas is eliminated and an agreement is reached under which they surrender," Smotrich added, "We will not stop until our enemies are destroyed and the security of the State of Israel is fully ensured."
