Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades announce death of 1 member in Israeli attack
The Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Hamas movement, announced that one of its members was killed in southern Lebanon as a result of an Israeli attack.
The Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades issued a statement regarding their losses in southern Lebanon and the attacks they carried out against Israel.
1 HAMAS MEMBER KILLED
The statement indicated that Walid Ahmed Hasaneyni, a resident of the Mieh Mieh Palestinian refugee camp in Lebanon, lost his life as part of the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation. It was noted that 20 rockets were fired from southern Lebanon at an Israeli military base in the Western Galilee in retaliation for the massacre carried out by Israel against civilians in the Gaza Strip.
The Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades occasionally fire rockets from southern Lebanon, where the Iran-backed Hezbollah movement has strong military influence, at military points in northern Israel.
In the clashes that have been ongoing at the border between the Israeli army and Hezbollah since October 8, 2023, 29 Lebanese civilians, 162 Hezbollah members, 6 Israeli civilians, and 10 Israeli soldiers have been killed.
