Jihadist groups led by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, which have been clashing with Assad forces since November 27, are advancing in the direction of Hama province.

Clashing with Assad forces approximately 5 kilometers outside the Hama city center, the groups have secured control of the villages of Pasif, Elcid, El-Kreyyım, Hamr, Suruc, Es-Sa'n, Şeyh Hilal, El-Mecdel, Tel Bicu, Soubin, Zor El-Nasiriye, Zor El-Mesalik, El-Hacame, Zor Ec-Cerabiyat, El-Naura, El-Mubarakat, Resm El-Bağl, Avveyce, El-Ayur, and Kasun Ec-Cebel.

The jihadist groups also captured the Armored Units School, the Hattap arsenal, the Suruc Military Base, and the 25th Brigade near the Hama city center.

Meanwhile, the jihadist groups, which continue to advance from the north of Hama, are also fighting in the eastern and western directions of the city.
